Gaggalacka celebrates its 20th anniversary. The Double-X in the artwork as well as the hourglass mirror this journey and also give a hint for the future, as we are not even close to running out of time, ideas and motivation. The festival behind the name has grown within the last 20 years, but has remained faithful to its visions and unique spirit. It constantly mingles newly discovered talents with already known and well established artists in its line up. Gaggalacka as a festival takes place on phantastic locations, such as a stonepit, a hilltop at 700m altitude, a freaky farm and a dream beach and therefore mirrors the nomadic nature of the Psychedelic Trance Culture. It always offers an unforgettable psychedelic playground for children, no matter what age they might be. The group of diverse freaks creating this festival for all of us always keeps the focus on numerous other cultural and artistic activities, highlighting diversity rather than profit.

To celebrate 20 years of music, art, chaos, smiling, dancing, friendship and creativity with you, the music experts of the Gaggalacka family got together and extensively made use of this very quiet time to create this double free compilation for your personal listening pleasure. As we live in troubled times, we have decided to highlight the option to donate money for this release. All money collected will be forwarded to a benevolent cause according to the statute of the Gaggalacka association. We will keep you informed as soon as we know whom to support. Keep an eye on our Social Media if you may want to have a say and propose organizations ;)

The first part of this double release reflects the wide range of styles that the musical program of the Chill-Thrill-Kill-Out Floor. Only the unexpected should be expected. We hope you can tune in and drop out with this collection of dreamy chillout music and sounds that are too fresh and new to put them in any box. We are looking forward to meet all of you soon at a Gaggalacka event in the near future, maybe even this summer ;)
